PASTA Zanmai

On February 10th, it was my first experience eating Japanese food with pasta. O.o Imagine pasta served with wasabi and cream/tomato sauce?? -No wasabi of cos, jk- It was a last second decision to hop on a ride to Mid Valley for dinner cos initial plan was to have pizzas near by. Oh I forgot to mention that it was Alan's birthday (he is my friend and housemate) so we decided to celebrate with him.

Long story short.

Let the picture below do the talking and trigger your food cravings if it may =)

"Pasta Zanmai", it took us 10 to 15min to take our order. There's tons of choice =) I would say the price is reasonable and affortable of cos.

We had green tea to clear our throat... grRhh... Apparently we couldn't wait for the food to come.

One of us ordered Apple green tea. The fragrance of the green apple itself was heaven. The mixture of the tea and apple was perfectly blended together that gave a punch to your taste bud whenever it gushes down the throat.

Strawberry Crepe. Pasta Zanmai in house made ice cream. The texture of the ice cream was smooth and filled around with strawberry fillings and strawberry and cream topping makes it even more irresistible.

Vanilla Crepe - I still preferred the strawberry crepe for it's flavour over this. In short, the texture of both ice cream was simply irresistible.

Here comes the food!!!

Pepper grilled chicken served with mushroom cream sauce inclusive of spaghetti. I had this one =)

Teriyaki Chicken served with spaghetti and an half boiled egg on top.

Braised chicken served with spaghetti and an half boiled egg on top. Chicken Katsu style.

Spaghetti filled with unagi served with mushroom cream sauce.

This was the last dish, Japanese pizza.

The birthday man is on the left. We finished our dinner around 9pm and left the premises soon after. However I did a detour to the book store to grab some books and later on left the mall heading back home to wrap up my day.

Boom-De-Yada ( I love the whole world)

Song Lyrics:-

I love the mountains
I love the clear blue skies
I love big bridges
I love when great whites fly
I love the whole world
And all its sights and sounds
Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada

I love the ocean
I love real dirty things
I love to go fast
I love Egyptian kings
I love the whole world
and all its craziness
Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada

I love tornadoes
I love Arachnids
I love hot magma
I love the giant squids
I love the whole world
Its such a brilliant place
Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada
Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada, Boom De Yada
Boom De Yada…

Kind of catchy huh~ haha~

Enjoy the youtube feed.

The bucket list

Weekend always passes by very fast. However, I spend my Saturday doing much of nothing and I guess going out was not the option cos it was like cats and dogs out there the whole day. As the rain stopped in the evening, I had a short session of basketball with my mates and head to the "Mamak" for supper. Playing with a totally empty stomach gave me weak legs. LOL~

Soon after the supper, we visited the *LOCAL DvD vendor* wink* for dvd.

We bought a few dvds for the night.

We viewed...

"The Bucket List"

I would definitely say this movie is a sentimental drama that as a viewer touches your emotions. If you like drama and not just another typical Hollywood film, I guess this show is for you provided that you appreciate a movie that had less "Ooh Ha" in it but uses more of your comprehension side.

The performance from Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman as expected were brilliance and top notch. The film is funny and it touches your feeling. I wouldn't want to elaborate any further as I hate spoilers too. Haha...

I highly recommend anyone to view this show "The Bucket List".

Maybe the poster should be like the following:-

Confused???

A day in the Park.

Last Sunday, I visited "Taman Botani" of Putrajaya. Lovely and *short* experience.

Opening Hours:
Park:
Daily - 7.00 am to 6.00 pm (including public holidays)

No fees required.

But somehow I reached the destination at approximately *5.00pm*. Dammit! darn useless *Road directional board* =) Without much hesitation I still proceed with my visit.

The canopy bridge of the Taman Botani. The sight was breathtaking. The wind is catching up and the mush mellow clouds were blown away.

Giving it's way for a heavy down pour.

Soon after we departed from the park, we stopped by one of the signage of Putrajaya itself.

Most of the people would parked their car by the road side to catch some fresh air as it was windy and cooling that particular evening.

Practically I was shooting non stop until my camera's battery ran low.

Below here were my last two shots.

Rain followed.

I soon left Putrajaya and head home.

I shall try to post more often and most of my post will be photos instead of words that make your head spin.

Feel free to comment =)

Enjoy and hope you all likes the photos I had taken.

Cont'd from my Last Post

We opened the door gently hoping to have a peek on this little man, he was lying on his parent's bed peacefully without the care of the world.

Anxious to see him.

His father gently woke him up and carried him out to the living room. Introduction was made and the important news were, we are officially addressed as "Uncles" to this little man.

I guess he was anxious to see us too.

Apparently he was still in the mood of sleeping.

It took ages to make him smile, apparently our language does not make any senses to him and neither is our funny antics amused him so.

However, he still smiled at last =)

There's this shot when Jack tried, " Give me five!'.

His reaction was funny~

Cling onto his dad's shoulder tightly, we tried to play "peekaboo" with this little guy.

But in his case, ignorance works just fine.

We soon left the premises before the massive jam hits the highway. We say our goodbye to the little guy and promised we would drop by again someday.

Life is a gift, a gift from God.

The Season of Joy

Christmas tree deco in Time Square

The trees are up and the decoration filled the malls anticipating the season towards Christmas & as for me, the joyous occasion of the year. The year mark at it's end opening the gate to Year 2008.

The Garden

The Garden at Mid Valley, one of the new malls in town. I heard the Christmas deco is up in Mid Valley. As always, mid valley always have the best deco aside from Star Hill Gallery. I just can't wait to snap some photo.

Putrajaya Mosque

Apparently I went to putrajaya to snap some photos though it's kinda late at night. Eventually I took some quick snaps then I head straight home soon after.

A night at Putrajaya

The radiance of the moon give reflection to all of its surrounding when gaze upon the lake.

I just can't wait for Christmas to arrive =)

Finally....

THE 1st time I saw this...

Please wait....

I was in deeply in love with it... months back while sitting in the cinema waiting for the bloody movie to start there's always some commercial on the big screen.. and I saw this again...

I was so tempted to... but I resisted the temptation because it is not a necessity and I still have my beloved 200 pound beauty (you will know what I meant later - below... ). Putting the consideration of "Oops I did again!"... and regret later of spending unnecessary...

Then WTF! & OMLG (oH my Loving God) !! My 200 pound Beauty a.k.a Nokia 3660 Phone spoiled!!! It was totally not functional! Took it to the Nokia mobile stall to fix it, they told me, " Leng zhai, you phone so old like a grandmother already, is time that you have to let it go." WTF! It just died like that! I got only one thought in mind at that very moment, Gosh! Money!! ....

Speechless yet sad, I'm worried about the money and the reluctant to fork out the money to get a new phone - EVERYTHING IS ABOUT MONEY! and Eventually I delayed the pain for 3 months by borrowing an extra mobile phone that my house mates has and ANOTHER reason that I'm sad is because my this particular nokia phone was the first mobile phone that I bought for myself 5 years back when I got my first paycheck... hm... not my first paycheck to begin with but to be exact is few months of paychecksSs.. ha ha...

Gosh... 3 Months without a proper phone... then...

Finally... I burned a hole in my pocket last night and is like Earth met its end when countless Meteorite strikes endlessly to its very core....

ookAMI

Months ago, I happens to come across this game while seeing Alan played on his PS2. It caught my attention...

This game is titled Ookami, the meaning of the title rather interesting, in chinese character as "大神", which bring the meaning "big god", then main character you are going to use in the game is a wolf(written in chinese character as "狼") in Japanese is also pronounced as "ookami". The game is come with you becoming this wolf so called god. This whole game is very artsy and the graphic is very unique unlike any other game I have seen or played before!

Then again, I'll try to get hold of the game once I'm back hometown! Alan finished the game! Darn!

The ending theme song is really nice! Below is the raw japanese lyrics, chinese & english translated lyrics. Feel free to click on the youtube link. I ensure you will like it. Enjoy!

Though the (flower) petals are falling, they added colors the city
The final times had come, the winds forbade
There is no need for worries; for the seasons will return (it’s a cycle).
The radiant moon we watched together that time beckoned so

The same tears are always shed
We will not realize what is precious until we have lost it

If only one wish can be fulfilled
I would say “goodbye” to my old self
If there are unchangeable feelings
It would be under the usual Sakura tree
(Alternative – If there are remaining feelings, I will bury it under the usual Sakura tree)

I traced my pinky in the dazzling morning
So the promise made will not be lost
(Japanese kids do the “pinky-swear” yubikiri as sign to keep promises)

I will not hesitate and move on with life
For the time past will not return

For my most cherished prayers to reach you
I shall sing again today
You’ll find the answers you seek
For so was I told

If only one wish can be fulfilled
I want to deliver this song to you (back) in time
If there are unchangeable feelings
It would be under the usual Sakura tree

For my most cherished prayers to reach you
I shall sing again today
The answers you seek is right here
Thus was I told so

The countdown

IS A MASSIVE JAM out there!!!

The countdown to merdeka (Independence Day Celebration) & in 3 days time that we Malaysian will be celebrating this particular day.

........................

Neitherless.....

This morning, there was a massive jam down town in the heart of KL. Even the "SMART Tunnel" is closed down to avoid further increase the number of cars getting bumper to bumper action without moving. I was lucky yet unlucky today because I was forced to go down KL to attend a meeting. On normal days, the condition of the traffic is still fine and accessible but due to the upcoming celebration, lots of road had been blocked for rehearsal.

My lastest Toy

Bought this last night... just a courtesy of doing my deeds as all the rest of the shoppers would do during this time of the year in contributing to the Malaysia Carnival Sales! ha! (affordable & worth it)

I was Wondering...

One month and few days gone, it has been quite a decade that I had'nt blog. I had been rather busy with tons of stuff waiting for me to settle and stuffsss that had long been piling like mount averest on my desk.

The job is hectic and yet not as satisfying as I thought of the outcome would be. So I took a days off last thursday, 2th August 2007. but I was wondering hard of what should I do on that particular day. Nothing came in mind straight but just a thought to relax my exhausted being and make myself free from the worries and the nightmare kind (sort of) of experience I had.

Spider Pig

The video clearly shows what I did on the particular day. "The Simpson - The Movie." Gosh! I laugh my lungs out in GSC (Golden Screen Cinema) and it was not only me who is doing the laughing and choked with saliva. Everyone in the cineplex is laughing too! Opps, I think I had mistaken about the dates. I watched the show at midnight on wednesday. Basically I visited the Aquaria@KLCC on thursday for the fourth time. I didn't took any picture because blogging didn't ran through my shallow mind. I just have the plain intention to have a good time.

I do have plans to buy a camera last weekend during the 3 day PC fair extravaganza but to my dismay, all the displayed "I WANT" camera were all far beyond financial reachable for me at the moment. Still I would get one in near future meaning I might need to save up to get one. A canon or nikon? SLR? Its depends...

At most of my time I would always ponder hard especially the past weeks of what should I do with my life since my last blog post. I'm rather lost of where to begin. Dilemma is the only word best describe my current states.

I think I shall stop here for the time being.

"The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak".

Q2

Starting of Q2

Last Week…

It was holy week for THE catholic community and christian including for myself. For singaporean, they eventually had their time off during Good Friday as it was a public hol. As For me, I had to applied leave AND not FOR the whole day but for a half day in the noon only due to some unforseen circumstances -"Meet the client"- session in the morning and it lasted till 2pm since 10am on that particularly morning.

The day was long after the meeting. I went back straight after the meeting at North Point, Mid Valley. Luckily theres no jam or anything that obstructs my URGE to quickly go back home to take a 'mandi kerbau' & a nap before going to attend Good Friday Service at 8pm in Good Sheperd Church, Setapak.

The mass ended around 10pm and I had my late dinner with my family.

That goes my Friday…

Easter SUNDAY ~~~ FOOD!!! Duh??

Anyone try the famous fish head noodles at Taman Desa, Old Klang Road?

It's called Ho A One Seafood Steamboat. This place is steamboat by night and fish head noodle by day. It's rather near the Sri Kota supermarket. Turn into the road next to Shell Station and it is somewhere on the left at the shophouses opposite the condos. It is a corner lot behind a mamak named Jalar.

The coffeeshop only serves fish head noodles. The crowd is very consistent, you'll have to wait for tables during lunch time & be prepared to wait at least 40 mins for the food.

The soup is cooked with right taste, not too creamy as generally found from other stalls. With the salted vege, it provides slight sourish taste to the soup. Added with tomatoes, it's just turned out to be excellent...served with generous portion of fresh fish fillets (fried), with at least 6-7 pieces if you order a big bowl. Cost you RM7.50 for a big bowl...check it out!

Rawang!

The day follows by act of "headless chicken goofying around" to look for ways to my colleague place at Rawang to visit him as well as to negotiate about jack's new car.

yesh, indeed it was a headless chicken ordeal. It took at 2 hours to reach there. Haha~

The day ended up later at night when we had our dinner in mid valley. Initially the plan was having our stomach filled with sushi at sushi king but we ended up at kentucky. Soon after the dinner, we went for video & music browsing at speedy. Ah ya, I found a movie which is very nice that I think I should introduce to you all if you havent get your hand on one.

1 Litre of Tears

This movie is about a girl who was diagnosed with a disease called Spinocerebellar Degeneration when she was 15 years old, and was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25 years old.

It is based on the true story of a Japanese girl named Kito Aya, who had the same disease. She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her love ones.

Her diary “1 Litre of Tears” was published after her death, because of its inspiring and courageous message of, “Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing.” Over 18,000,000 copies of her diary have been sold.

I hope you guys will love this movie as much as I did!

SUNDAYsSssSSSss???

7.30am

Sunday!!!
Feeling like a total slope today. Initially I am suppose to accompany su wei to subang but due to some circumstances forbids me & in the end... yes, she went alone. ~GOMEN!~

Well, that’s how things are at times that we cannot forseen the future. However, we can only assumed and based on some experience that we accumulate along the way that makes us wiser in making decision and prevention/cure will come into the picture automatically while dealing with obstacles that comes our way.

11am!!!
Ya, few hours had passed. Nothing much had been done, I am still wondering how to spend my Sunday. Maybe ill just go over to the other room to waste my time >.<>

GOD OF WAR II !!!!!

Believe me or not, if you happens to have a Ps2 - get your hand on one copy of the ORIGINAL game titled "GOD OF WAR II" (should not support priracy >.<)

This game rocks! It's not even PS3, but it's burning hot with the fires of hell.

A bit of description to arouse you all! Kekekeke~
God of War saw Kratos, a mortal warrior, set upon an epic quest to dethrone a God. But his journey did not end there. In God of War II, Kratos sits atop his Olympus throne, as the new God of War – far more ruthless than Ares ever was. To end his continued torment, Kratos must journey to the far reaches of the earth and defeat untold horrors and alter that which no mortal, or god has ever changed, his fate.

God of War II sets an epic stage for a devastating mythological war to end all wars.

Heres the link for you to go clicking & view the TERROR within the game!

Finally! Alan & Jacky suggested to go to mid valley! Yesh! I got myself something to do. Well, the terms "TO DO" cannot actually define the purpose of going there. haha~ O_o I guess it will be another pointless "LEPAK" in mid valley. Well, is better than staying at home doing nothing.

Our first "Lepak" destination was :-
Nothing than the game shop for Alan & Jack! - Motto: "Shop for more game before priracy is stopped!" Hahahaha~ After spending some ringgitSss on few games, they were satisfied so we went window shopping~

Ah~ Malaysia International Aerospace Exhibition!!!

To be frank! There's not much to seen there.

Kids Attraction

BASKETBALL n Nike^

In ancient Greece, NIKE was the winged goddess of victory. She was the daughter of Pallas and Styx.
