PASTA Zanmai

On February 10th, it was my first experience eating Japanese food with pasta. O.o Imagine pasta served with wasabi and cream/tomato sauce?? -No wasabi of cos, jk- It was a last second decision to hop on a ride to Mid Valley for dinner cos initial plan was to have pizzas near by. Oh I forgot to mention that it was Alan's birthday (he is my friend and housemate) so we decided to celebrate with him.

Long story short.

Let the picture below do the talking and trigger your food cravings if it may =)

"Pasta Zanmai", it took us 10 to 15min to take our order. There's tons of choice =) I would say the price is reasonable and affortable of cos.

We had green tea to clear our throat... grRhh... Apparently we couldn't wait for the food to come.

One of us ordered Apple green tea. The fragrance of the green apple itself was heaven. The mixture of the tea and apple was perfectly blended together that gave a punch to your taste bud whenever it gushes down the throat.

Strawberry Crepe. Pasta Zanmai in house made ice cream. The texture of the ice cream was smooth and filled around with strawberry fillings and strawberry and cream topping makes it even more irresistible.

Vanilla Crepe - I still preferred the strawberry crepe for it's flavour over this. In short, the texture of both ice cream was simply irresistible.

Here comes the food!!!

Pepper grilled chicken served with mushroom cream sauce inclusive of spaghetti. I had this one =)

Teriyaki Chicken served with spaghetti and an half boiled egg on top.

Braised chicken served with spaghetti and an half boiled egg on top. Chicken Katsu style.

Spaghetti filled with unagi served with mushroom cream sauce.

This was the last dish, Japanese pizza.

The birthday man is on the left. We finished our dinner around 9pm and left the premises soon after. However I did a detour to the book store to grab some books and later on left the mall heading back home to wrap up my day.

On this very day I would say...

Dear,

This heart felt antidote touched me recently

It stroked me and it seemed an appropriate theme to share with you for
Valentines Day or any day whenever love is needed.

There was this well-known speaker who anticipated hundred of audience and she started off by holding up a RM20 bill. She asked, "Who would like this RM20 bill?" Hands started going up.

She said, "I am going to give this RM20 to only 1 of you, but first, let me do this. She proceeded to crumple up the RM20.

She then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.

Well, She replied, "What if I do this?" She dropped it instantly right after the question on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with her shoe.

She picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

Then she said, “My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth RM20. “

Lots of times in lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by Life and the circumstances that come our way. We strongly felt as though we are worthless. No matter what had happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.

The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or whom we know, but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.

It came clear to me about this story might be that our own worth and our worth to each other is beyond the relative.

The ego suffers when life does not go the way it thinks it should be.
The ego will project feelings of loneliness and unloved, worthless, and powerless.
The ego loves to wallow in the negative.
This is the time to reach to the transcendent reality, of whom and what we are beyond the physical.

The transcendent experience of reality could be described as LOVE without conditions and limits.

Did the thoughts of why someone would risk their very own life to save a strangers life ever stroked you?

Maybe it might be because, at an initial level, there is the inner knowledge that we are all the same, we are each other.

Indeed we are one and we belong to each other.

Cubicle 24/7 wishes all the lovely dovey out there a Happy Valentines day =)

p/s: I'm so lonely & tiny on this particular day. yaks!
Posts about my trip to my friend's wedding will be up next.

Define The NORM~

RAPID KL??

Ah~~ hm~~ apparently Im sitting inside the bus waiting for the 'TAI KO' bus driver to start moving his ass cos I had already waited inside the bus for 1/2 hour.

Waiting Interval:

I waited for the bus to reach the bus stop alone takes me 40min and another 30min or more till the bus start
moving with passenger full packed inside.

hey, theres some interesting facts below. Click the picture below to enlarge.

YA, I know. The qualities of my picture is lousy because I'm using VGA cam from my phone.

LEMBU makan Ayam

Imagine all the cows are to went berserk and start eating FLESH & BLOOD instead of 'Green green river side grass' -(translate that to chinese) ahaha~ Would'nt that be scary! I guess it would be more scarier for our Muslim friend who SEMBELIT cows during Hari Raya Haji as one their religion practices. The LEMBU is out for revenge!! However, as for our Hindu friends, I guess they are spared BECOS they treat cows as a holy animal >.<

yea, no offence and correct my facts if im wrong! Hahaha~

RAMBO in the making.

Afternoon strolling below my condominium was relaxing after my 1 hour nap. I was sitting beside of the swimming pool and I noticed some kid playing rambo wannabe with water guns. I guess these days kid is so lucky of which they would have the lastest gadget and etc. Like my friend Jo, he got a PsP, O2 & etc. I bet you are reading this right now eh, Jo. Hahaha~ jk jk.

During my time, the only water pistol we had was the one inside our pants. >.<

The afternoon gave in to sunset soon and it was...

DINNER TIME!!!

Well, I was kinda lazy to have dinner far from home and it is Sunday too. Tomorrow will be tiring if I travelled far just to have decent food. So in the end I choose somewhere near to my place and it just took me 10min walk with my brother and su wei to a place named...

"ITALIAN PIZZA - PARADISO".

Few words to describe.

"Authetic Italian cuisine by Italian on malaysian soil!"
"Mouth-watering Italian specialties, great ambience and good mix of people to go along with it!"

The food was hm… sorry! not good with vocabulary or describing BUT is unlike Pizza Hunt, Shaky or Domino! Commercialise italian food always aimed for fulfilling methodSsss (*stomach filled policy-piroirity) but not the quality of taste or the originality. Thanks to my insatiable appetites! I'm craze for good food!

Sometime is not about how fancy to restaurant can be or how expensive it can get and the bill will burn your wallet into ashes instead it is always depending on the quality of the food they serve!

Well, I found one somewhere near my place. >.<

Before proceeding to the mouth watering picture I took - heres some of the recommended italian restaurant of which I dine before.

I found some place that are worth while to tryout are as below:

"ITALIAN PIZZA - PARADISO". -* Dined Yesterday on the 18/03/2007

Taman Danau Desa,
58100 Kuala Lumpur.

In truth, “Italian cuisine” is a misnomer, as Italy is a mishmash of different provinces which were only unified in 1861. (Not born yet). Throwing together different regions with different cultural melting pot backgrounds does not add up to a general cuisine menu that represents all of Italy.

An example would be that the pizzas of Rome are wafer-thin, in contrast to the thick pizzas of Sicily.

FOOD!

Ah well, I did'nt went for the 5 courses meal or any meal courses but instead I went for the ala-cart! The freedom of choices. HAHA!
