Happy Mid Autumn Festival

Happy Mid Autumn festival to all my fellow readers and friends.

I'm alive!!! still!!

Living a day at a time but taking a leap towards my dream is living the life all I have dreamt off.

Take care everyone. I will update soon.

Mike

Short updates #1

I will persist until I succeed.

I was not delivered into this world into defeat, nor does failure course in my veins. I am not a sheep waiting to be prodded by my sheperd. I am a lion and I refuse to talk, to walk, to sleep with the sheep.

The slaughterhouse of failure is not my destiny.

I will persist until I succeed. =)

Regards,
Mike

My fellow readers

Hi everyone,

3 Months!! What happened to the vow?!

I made a vow that I will at least blog every 2 weeks.. what happened to that vow I wonder.

of cos there excuses to laziness...

My apology to all, I'm expriencing a transition period right now and apparently I'm extremely busy in between accomplishing my goals for 2009 and meeting obstacles & shit holes every now and then. Of cos while stepping on shit, I striked off a few milestones here and there. Setting new ones and looking forward for the bigger one that will contribute in shortening the distance to the final distination. I felt like I'm embarking on a never ending journey of no turning back but plus I am force to endure pain/failure/rejection along the way and the secret was I was able to enjoy the every bit of the process while dashing my whole heartedly in this choosen path. No regrets.. no regrets....

I will try to update whenever I have the luxury of time which I find it hard these days. hahaha... Do drop by to check out whether there's any updates.

Till then, cya and take care everyone. This is not the END of the CUBE. I promise.

Best Wishes,
Michael

A Trip down to IPOH

I'm back yet I'll have limited time to blog. Work has been hectic as my laptop was stolen under my nose a week ago. Effort was being carried out endlessly day and night to retrieve my company & personal data was like looking for a needle under the deep ocean bed. Neither less, I am taking a short while here to upload my trip to Ipoh for a wedding ceremony of Laine & Poh Yuen's big day. I was honoured to be invited to be their photographer also together with me for this important task was Joseph.

It was rather early that morning which Joseph and I sat foot on the bride room. The day was clear and the weather was promising. We just couldn't wait for the showdown.

Apparently Laine was tired as she told us that she didn't slept much as I think she was excited for her big day. Her stylist did a good job in making her the prettiest girl of the day. Obviously everyone was so excited and happy for her.

As I took some time for a walk back in memory lane, there were pictures hang on the wall of the bride's home. Photos of her childhood and pictures of nostalgic moments were hang everywhere that would convey happiness and love that last a lifetime and to be shared for generation to come.

Picture of theirs- Laine & Poh Yuen was also being hang on the hall of fames of the Liew's family.

Gifts for the sistershood. A token of appreciation for her gals friends as they are assigned for an important mission that particular day. The groom is not going to get to the bride that easy, the gals gonna give a hard time for the groom. ~.~

Shes was definitely ready for her big day. Her smile was so radiant and the excitement & anticipations fills the atmosphere as I could hear hearts beats at every corner of the house and the sound of wedding bells echos from afar...

WAIT~! Is not the church ceremony yet.

I'll be back for more picture and story. Stay tune~

Cheers~

PASTA Zanmai

On February 10th, it was my first experience eating Japanese food with pasta. O.o Imagine pasta served with wasabi and cream/tomato sauce?? -No wasabi of cos, jk- It was a last second decision to hop on a ride to Mid Valley for dinner cos initial plan was to have pizzas near by. Oh I forgot to mention that it was Alan's birthday (he is my friend and housemate) so we decided to celebrate with him.

Long story short.

Let the picture below do the talking and trigger your food cravings if it may =)

"Pasta Zanmai", it took us 10 to 15min to take our order. There's tons of choice =) I would say the price is reasonable and affortable of cos.

We had green tea to clear our throat... grRhh... Apparently we couldn't wait for the food to come.

One of us ordered Apple green tea. The fragrance of the green apple itself was heaven. The mixture of the tea and apple was perfectly blended together that gave a punch to your taste bud whenever it gushes down the throat.

Strawberry Crepe. Pasta Zanmai in house made ice cream. The texture of the ice cream was smooth and filled around with strawberry fillings and strawberry and cream topping makes it even more irresistible.

Vanilla Crepe - I still preferred the strawberry crepe for it's flavour over this. In short, the texture of both ice cream was simply irresistible.

Here comes the food!!!

Pepper grilled chicken served with mushroom cream sauce inclusive of spaghetti. I had this one =)

Teriyaki Chicken served with spaghetti and an half boiled egg on top.

Braised chicken served with spaghetti and an half boiled egg on top. Chicken Katsu style.

Spaghetti filled with unagi served with mushroom cream sauce.

This was the last dish, Japanese pizza.

The birthday man is on the left. We finished our dinner around 9pm and left the premises soon after. However I did a detour to the book store to grab some books and later on left the mall heading back home to wrap up my day.

FIGHTING THE ODDS.

Apparently I'm still awake doing something on an early Sunday morning - my clock ticked 2:12am. It had been an exhausted week for me since the "Return to work" syndrome had pumped up more blood into my blood vessel. The bonus added part was I had to sleep less than 5 hours a day for the past four days and it has bring forth the Result of = I am still awake now! I couldn't sleep even though it is a resting day for me today and Monday as well.

Saturday 7th Feb 09 just ended 2 hours ago, Sunday 8th Feb 09 just creeped in. I was looking at my calendar and I found myself looking at the dates for the following week with doubts and question marks kept popping in the air. Suddenly a blink of awareness filled my empty void. Obviously the annoucement I heard on radio stations and the advertisement on the papers and also fwd emails i received for the past few days and even the Internet share the similarity of relating the information that I received...

It is Valentines Day knocking on our door step. The feeling of Aw... ~~ drooled me into the picture of dating someone for this festive... but immediatly an alarm bell rang in my head telling me that I did not and forgotten to allocate a budget for this "festive" - "commercialized occasion." Aw again ~~ I think I just need to dig deep into my "play jug" to see whether there's any extra =)

I ponder for a while on what should I do for Valentine day. Should I dine out or I just plain cook at home. Maybe I should get presents or maybe I should buy flowers? All of the mentioned rang the alarm again reminding me once more that I "MIGHT" not have the budget for it since I totally forgot about it. =D sad but true, there's so much thing going on since the start of the New Year. I was just too busy with my schedule till I can't bother at times to take my wabbits for a swim in the pool. <- (ok, that's a joke, what I meant is bath)

Fighting the odds that I would date someone I love or should I date someone that I befriended for ages? =) I guess most of us would date someone whom we love. I am clueless at this point. Have you ever felt that no matter what you do, you'll get pain? For example, some people feel that if they stay in a relationship, they'll be miserable because they felt that they are not meant to be, but if they leave, they'll be lonely and even more miserable. As a result, they do nothing and feel miserable!

All my life I had been fighting for what I believe I would want in life. From the moment I woke up in the morning, I dragged my butt into the wash room and lifted my head and look myself into the mirror with a pair of tired eye balls but still I motivate myself even if I had just encountered something catastrophic yesterday. I would be lying to you if I were to say I always win in life, I would say I went through some of the most indescribable experiences in life and it varies from different stages of my life, history of my childhood, studies, relationship, work and etc.

Events and experiences in the past had taught me rather than feeling trapped, I used this pain as my strongest ally. I feel this pain of mine with emotional intensity that allows me to leverage to finally do something about it. This is what we call reaching emotional threshold. I believe instead of passively waiting for this inevitable emotion, I consciously and actively produce it in a way that motivates myself to make my life better =) This method works tremendously well in my life.

Last but not least, I urge everyone to treat each day as a "Wake up call" to remind yourself that you can do greater things in life. Everyone is gifted in may ways. For me. I wake up everyday telling myself that each day is a fight for my freedom-"My financial freedom" =) Everyone have different goals in life. It is this that motivates and push you to the limits each day. What is life without goals? Always ask yourselves what you do today does it contributes to your success and happiness in life?

Michael Wong

STAINED or CLEAN

2nd February 2009

It was a hectic morning yet another exhausted afternoon but I love the feeling of being busy during the holidays. FYI-Today is a public holiday for Federal Day of Kuala Lumpur so basically everyone that is working within the city area is off for today and shall resume work tomorrow.

I woke up quite early today to start cleaning my room as I just came back from the Chinese New Year Holiday. My belongings was unpacked last night but my room was yet to be cleaned after a week off back to my hometown - The Land of the Head Hunters - (Kuching, Sarawak) =D

Honestly speaking... It took me several months... I say SEVERAL months to take the initiative to clean the FRIDGE. Hey, comon I should be praised from doing that. haha.. since theres none in my rented house would want to do that. Everyone was like pushing the "GROSS" task around. I took the initiative =) haha.

So I wore gloves, tons of newpapers and 2 freaking big black plastic bags (like the bags you would be seen in CSI to "bungkus" the corpse)-bungkus means wrap in Bahasa Malaysia. Without decribing any further, I guess you knows roughly what's the content inside the fridge. It had not gone through the defrosting process for quite a while and.. ok, I'll stop else you will puke. bwhahaha~ How I wish there's ladies around the house. I reckon that females are more prompt to cleaniness and many other things in life which men need them to be around. God create a perfect balance in this world =D

While removing the unwanted stuff in the fridge, I was almost out of breath. Goosh. I dismanted the plastic parts in the fridge and washed it with soap and water. Some of the stain just won't go. I brushed so hard till my face go red...

LIGHT BULBS~

I soaked it in a bucket of water that contains detergent and I left it for an hour or so. The stain was easily removed after that. Of cos I brushed it again. Then I managed to clean up my room, sweeped, mop and etc. Again and again I see stain here and there. I really don't know how did all this stain came from. Geesh~ I tried my best and finished up everything by noon.

I sat back and relax for a while and started planning ahead what would be my schedule for this month. Things to be accomplished within this month and other sighted goals that are aligned with my main goals for the following months of 2009. Some thought just came in mind and I wish to share with you all cos apparently I have indeed some time off that allows me to do so.

"Stained or clean"
(My point of view)
Most people wonders and sometimes queries why a child can have thoughts and mentality that can be so innocence and pure and why most of the adults in the society doesn't. Why would so many adults does not have the common or correct understanding for their children needs?

Isn't because they are stained as the saying goes, "Money is the root of all evil" that makes most of the adults in the society gone crazy and abused this tools that leads to corruption, betrayal, and other immoral stuff you can think of. Or isn't because over the period of time that a person changed due to his/her life experiences that told them so. Or isn't because there's so much to blame in the world that one forgot the basis of education since young???

A big QUESTION mark just popped right from nowhere. The question is why and how?

I reckon there are 3 factors in life that shape ones belief and later on became part of their lifes which will follows them till their death bed. Again -my point of view =) -

All were craved since the day you understand who is your daddy and mommy.
1) What you heard and what you later on practice that became a habit. The things you heard that brings you pleasure and the things that restrict you from doing it that associated to pain.

2) What and who did you modeled since you were young. From your parents till the people that surrounds you. Unconsciously you will love to treat one of them as your HERO. The question is whom did you modeled since then that actually formed entirely your belief that you would be like him or her.

3) Something BIZZARE or some specific encounter that happened when you were young and it had since became a severe memory stigmata or pleasurable moment that pierced or encourages you everytime you associate it with the reality in your adult life.

It is not about how a person changed over the period of time. It is about how well you actually mastered the above mentioned 3 items whether you had started or exposed to the correct or wrong feet at the very begining. Kids are like spongeBOB, they tend absorb whatsoever that comes their way and it is then that form him or she an adult today. You can either be the Guru of Success or Guru of failure of which you had mastered since young that resulted to the quality you have today.

Stained or clean. It is not about if you were once a useless person, you are forever that person pinned to the wall and it does not mean that you do not have the priviledge to strive to being better. I believe everyone has many fair choices in life. From the moment you think what you need to do next, choices immediately present itself in front of you. It is how we recognize these choices to make our life better. =) You too have the infinite POWER of choices! Recognize the above 3 items and startle your thinking cap. What have you done so far and achieved so far?

Live life to the extent of acknowledge what comes your way and doing what's important that support your happiness and success and bringing it forth with your will and desire to achieve greater heights.

Cheers~

COMPETITION

30th January 2009.

I had a serious discussion with my business partner on our "freelance business" this afternoon. Of cos without the exception of wearing the extreme (Formality) of = SUITS with TIES and Blazers etc but it's a head start for him and I. However, I will be doing the extreme when we meet up for the next business discussion. haha~! Do let me know if you wanna know why I opt to go for the extreme next time. =)

Summary of the outcome of the discussion were basically organizing the workloads and finalizing the details of setting up the proper stream for our future customers like "YOU" whom are reading this right now to know and understand us further. By the way, we are doing freelance on "Actual Day Wedding Photography" - Your biggest day in life is our biggest day as well! =)

And in the end of the day, a thought strikes me and forces me onto wearing my thinking cap = "COMPETITION!"

=) No doubts there's so much competition out there and it ranges from people that are entitled with the GURU status or even to the extent of MASTER of GURUsssS. Yes indeed, the initial thoughts were freakishly demotivated that it resounded in my head for a minute, "You SIAO (meaning: crazy in Hokkien dialect) ah!! Lu Boh su zho ah!!!! (meaning:you have nothing else to do in Hokkien!!!)"

I breathed in deeply and repeatedly told myself within; "Thank you for sharing, this thoughts does not empower me and does not support my freedom, happiness and success!"

Instantly, I felt relieved and an everlasting perseverance and a stronger determination gushed in setting me on an Unstoppable mode! Godlike! Owning! <-(Anyone who plays DOTA knows whats all the terminology used here) hahaha. Within me, I told myself in return to the negative vibes saying, "I love COMPETITION!!!!"

COMPETITION is healthy. Set your goals right. Don't stop, play it 1000%! Competition gives birth to RESULTS. Results will reflect the 1000% that were invested in! It encourages constant changes for room to improve. The FINAL end result will only be nothing but your one and only "MASTER PIECE" copyrighted only to you! =)

Till then, I'm gonna to stop here. I need to rest my body after a long day. HEALTH!! Goosh. hehe~!

Cheers~

NEW YEAR 2009

My first post for the New Year 2009.

It is the 30th January 2009. Happy Chinese New Year 2009 to my fellow readers. It marks a different year for everyone as the globe's economy is moving towards "depression" (my personal opinion) rather than "recession" as everyone fears for the worst has yet to have come.

What can we do about it? What can we hope for or at least how should we react to such economic crisis? To be more prudence / save for raining days? (toot~ I save for Joyous day) / to invest in this economic situation?

EVERYONE IS sinking in being PRUDENCE and being in FEAR.

Regardless of such circumstances mentioned above.

I would hereby declares my goals for the year 2009:-
1)To further acquire / feed my brain =D with food = 50 books on self help / investing
2)To attend 2 workshops / seminars locally and abroad.
3)To top my university (FYI - currently undergoing part time study).
4)To be the top in my job.
5)To sleep only to the extent of "sufficient" but of cos staying healthy is a must!
6)To achieve ideal BMI (Body Mass Index). YES! I CAN DO IT!
7)To start in Internet marketing and freelance.
8)To spent time on cultivating family values.
9)To spent time on building up my spiritual beliefs.
10)TO ACHIEVE MY GOAL TO BE A MILLIONAIRE BY THE AGE OF 28!

It took so much COURAGE to declare my goals!I could almost instantly killed a tiger with such courage. Haha~! I love that feeling of having such courage. It makes the unbelievable becomes a miracle. I will and I must fulfill and complete the above mentioned.

I will be updating regularly on my progress toward my goals and of cos it is of cos depending on my schedule. You just LOOK at the above. The clocks is ticking! LOL~ I love being in the process of learning and growing and I am indeed enjoying myself right now, "ENJOYING the PROCESS", sometimes it is not about reaching the final destination. It's all about the PROCESS!!

Oh ya. before I forgot~ to ADD one more to my list of goals for this year 2009:
12) To update my blog regularly = at least once every fortnight =)

Cheers~
Mike
