On V-Day itself.

February the 14th - 2008.

I had my first Teh Tarik Ais (Cold Ice Milk Tea) after my return back to KL. The weather was fine but something doesn't seems right on this particular day. I'm missing something I guess.

The thrill of eating 'Asam Laksa' early in the morning for breakfast makes my day better and beautiful.

The day was indeed long for me. I had a long queue at the bank & it made my day even longer without me noticing the time flies ahead.

The clocks was ticking fast as a friend of mine needs to get ready for tonight and I happens to be needed to assist him in search for his valentine's gift.

Necklace, bracelet, watches, perfume & etc ran through our mind in search for an ideal gift. However, rings with carats of diamond strike our mind but reality creeps in and slap us hard.

Rather than of purchasing the above mentioned perhaps something different

Instead we found the "Ultimate Jukebox", the greatest invention of it's kind so far as we all know. The smallest and lightest jukebox ever made in history (That's what I called it).

The "IPOD".

IPOD NANO

The purchase was quick as my friend needs to rush back to get ready for his big night and most importantly he needs to look for a florist- a bouquet for his valentine.

Bouquet brochure.

We dropped by a florist shop somewhere near our place and he ordered his bouquet to be ready and collected later in the evening. Somehow I remembered my last purchased of a bouquet of roses was years back. Too bad I couldn't got the chance to snap his bouquet of pink roses which caused him a bomb.

Finally, I guess everything is set and ready for him & of cos Godspeed, I hope you scores tonight, pal! I hope to hear "good news" soon!

Then again, I'm here blogging & I bet you guessed the whole picture already. How I wish I could say the following to that someone right now...

"And even if the sun refused to shine,
Even if romance ran out of rhyme,
You would still have my heart until the end of time,
You're all I need, my love, my valentine."

Cubicle 24/7 again hereby wishes every couples a Happy Valentines Day.

Dear,

This heart felt antidote touched me recently

It stroked me and it seemed an appropriate theme to share with you for
Valentines Day or any day whenever love is needed.

There was this well-known speaker who anticipated hundred of audience and she started off by holding up a RM20 bill. She asked, "Who would like this RM20 bill?" Hands started going up.

She said, "I am going to give this RM20 to only 1 of you, but first, let me do this. She proceeded to crumple up the RM20.

She then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.

Well, She replied, "What if I do this?" She dropped it instantly right after the question on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with her shoe.

She picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

Then she said, “My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth RM20. “

Lots of times in lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by Life and the circumstances that come our way. We strongly felt as though we are worthless. No matter what had happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.

The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or whom we know, but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.

It came clear to me about this story might be that our own worth and our worth to each other is beyond the relative.

The ego suffers when life does not go the way it thinks it should be.
The ego will project feelings of loneliness and unloved, worthless, and powerless.
The ego loves to wallow in the negative.
This is the time to reach to the transcendent reality, of whom and what we are beyond the physical.

The transcendent experience of reality could be described as LOVE without conditions and limits.

Did the thoughts of why someone would risk their very own life to save a strangers life ever stroked you?

Maybe it might be because, at an initial level, there is the inner knowledge that we are all the same, we are each other.

Indeed we are one and we belong to each other.

Cubicle 24/7 wishes all the lovely dovey out there a Happy Valentines day =)

p/s: I'm so lonely & tiny on this particular day. yaks!
